FISHING FOR SONGS Students were "Fishing For Notes" at the Second HEB Suzuki Summer Play-in. Students created a paper fish, with their name and favorite song. Students were then selected to fish in Lake Suzuki. When their fish was caught by another student, the student named on the fish was selected to lead the song written on the fish. The first group of fisherpeople were Cellos and Violas. The second group were Violins. Mrs. Holt, of Lakewood, and Mrs. Tomlinson, of Hurst Hills and Wilshire, led the 'fishing' session. The International Practice Club party was held at Incredible Pizza. Students had to have earned at least 4 flags to attend the party. We had 156 students that earned at least 4 flags, of which approximately 100 of them came to Inc. Pizza.

Central Jr. High’s orchestra room is located in the Century Room of the FEW Center (where we have our Booster Club Meetings). It is located behind the Alternative Education Center, 3115 W.
